Privacy settings — ibuild.expert

Sign-in and your chosen language remain available. Optional website statistics and error reports are off until you agree. No advertising cookies or Google advertising/analytics tags are used.

Website only: ibuild-privacy-choice-v2 stores your choice for 180 days without an account ID. With your permission, ibuild.analytics.session stores a random ID in sessionStorage for the tab session. Reports go to IBUILD via Supabase and are linked to your signed-in account: usage up to 90 days, diagnostics up to 30 days, with daily cleanup, excluding document and form content. Supabase maintains sign-in; ibuild-language-v1 (up to one year) and verisite-lang remember the requested language. Project caches support requested features. Withdraw here at any time without signing out: future reports stop; data already sent is not deleted by withdrawal. Necessary security logs and native iPhone settings are separate. Data rights: support@ibuild.expert.

1. Who we are

The iBUILD platform (“Platform”, “we”) is available at ibuild.expert and provides construction project management tools for owners and professionals. For any questions about your data, contact us at support@ibuild.expert.

2. What data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, phone number (optional), county, account type (owner / professional), password (stored encrypted).
  • Professional profile data (if you choose to publish it): specialization, company, city and description.
  • Your project content: project details, site journal, photos, documents, costs, minutes, messages and offers.
  • Strictly necessary technical data: session cookies for authentication.
  • Limited usage and diagnostic data: the feature accessed, app version, operating system and Apple MetricKit crash or performance reports. We do not include the content of documents, photos, messages or completed form fields.

3. Why we collect it (legal basis)

  • Performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR): providing platform features — accounts, projects and collaboration.
  • Legal obligations (point (c)): retaining certain records where required by law.
  • Legitimate interests (point (f)): platform security and abuse prevention.
  • Consent (point (a)): optional website statistics and diagnostics, only after your choice in Privacy settings. Withdrawal does not affect sign-in. Native iPhone settings are separate.

4. Where data is stored

Data is stored in the European Union through our infrastructure providers: Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (application hosting). They act as data processors and provide contractual safeguards in accordance with the GDPR.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent your data. Content you choose to make visible (a public professional profile or a project open to offers) is shown to other platform users only to the extent you control through settings. Otherwise, data is accessible only to you and the people you invite to your projects.

6. How long we retain data

For the lifetime of your account. The retention threshold is 90 days for usage events and 30 days for technical diagnostics. Records exceeding these thresholds are removed by an automatic operation scheduled daily; removal is not instantaneous when the threshold is reached. When the account is deleted, your personal data and project content are deleted, except for information we are legally required to retain for a certain period.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure (“right to be forgotten”), restriction, portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with ANSPDCP (Romania’s National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing — dataprotection.ro).

To exercise any right, email support@ibuild.expert. We respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

Necessary storage supports sign-in and requested preferences. Optional website usage statistics and diagnostics are off by default and enabled separately only with your consent. We do not use marketing cookies. Your language preference is stored locally and in the ibuild-language-v1 cookie for up to one year to display pages in your chosen language. It contains only the language code, with no account data. See the website privacy section above for storage details and withdrawal.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes significantly, we will notify you in the app before the changes take effect. The last update date is displayed below.
